Summary

Fly Ready is a local-first Android app that helps travelers manage flight details, check-in reminders, boarding pass files, and pre-flight checklists for low-cost airlines.

Fly Ready does not require an account, does not use a backend server, and does not collect, transmit, or sell any personal data to the developer or to any third party. Fly Ready does not use advertising SDKs or analytics SDKs, and does not use or access the Android advertising ID.

Information you provide

Everything you enter into Fly Ready is stored only on your device, inside the app's private storage. This includes:

• Flight details you enter manually (airline, route, departure date/time, time zone, flight number)
• Booking references you choose to enter
• Whether you purchased a seat for a flight
• Reminder settings and preferences you configure
• Checklist progress for each trip
• Boarding passes or travel documents (PDF, JPG, PNG, or WebP files) that you choose to import into the app

None of this information is sent to the developer, to Fly Ready's own servers (Fly Ready has none), or to any third party. Fly Ready has no backend and does not sync data between devices or accounts.

Fly Ready does not collect and does not ask you for airline account credentials, passwords, or payment information.

Smart Ticket Import

When you choose a PDF ticket or itinerary for import, Fly Ready processes the file locally on your device to extract flight information. The PDF and extracted text are not uploaded to Fly Ready or to a backend service. Extracted flight information is saved locally only after you review and save the trip. The source PDF is not automatically stored as a travel document.

Permissions Fly Ready uses

• Notifications (POST_NOTIFICATIONS) — used only to deliver local check-in and travel reminders that you configure inside the app. These notifications are scheduled and delivered entirely on your device; no data leaves your device to enable this feature. If notifications are disabled, reminders will not be shown, but the rest of the app continues to work.
• File access for imported documents — you choose to import a boarding pass or travel document, Fly Ready lets you select a file using Android's system file picker and copies only the selected file into app-private storage. When you explicitly choose to open a stored document in another app, Android may grant that selected app temporary access to the document.

Fly Ready does not request location, contacts, camera, microphone, SMS, or call-log permissions.

Data storage, backup, and deletion

• All app data (trips, reminders, checklist progress, and imported documents) is stored locally in app-private storage on your device.
• Android system backup is disabled for Fly Ready, and backup rules explicitly exclude Fly Ready's local database, shared preferences, and internal files. Your Fly Ready data is not included in Android device backups.
• You can permanently delete all local Fly Ready data at any time from Settings → Local data → Delete all local data. This action cannot be undone.
• Uninstalling the app removes its app-private data according to standard Android platform behavior.

Third-party apps and websites

Fly Ready can open the official Ryanair or Wizz Air app or website so you can complete check-in or other airline actions directly with the airline. Fly Ready does not perform automatic check-in, does not scrape airline websites, and does not access or store your airline account credentials.

Once you leave Fly Ready to use an airline's app or website, your interaction with that app or website is governed by the airline's own privacy policy and terms of service, which Fly Ready does not control and is not responsible for.

Fly Ready is not affiliated with Ryanair, Wizz Air, or any airline. Airline rules, check-in windows, and baggage policies can change at any time. Always confirm check-in, baggage, and document requirements directly with the airline through its official app, website, or airport staff.

Children's privacy

Fly Ready is not directed at children and is not intended for use by children. Fly Ready does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through this app, contact us using the details below so we can assist; because Fly Ready stores data only on-device and has no backend, the developer typically has no way to access or view that data directly.

Your rights and choices

Because Fly Ready does not collect, transmit, or store your personal data on any server, there is no remote copy of your data for the developer to access, correct, export, or delete on your behalf. All Fly Ready data remains under your direct control on your own device:

• You can view, edit, or delete individual trips and documents at any time within the app.
• You can delete all local Fly Ready data at once from Settings.
• You can uninstall the app at any time to remove its app-private data.

Security

Fly Ready stores your data using standard Android app-private storage, which is sandboxed by the operating system and not ordinarily accessible to other apps, except when you explicitly choose to open a stored document in another app. Because Fly Ready has no backend and does not transmit your data over the network, there is no server-side transmission or storage to secure. As with any device, the overall security of locally stored data also depends on your device's own security settings (such as screen lock and OS updates).

Changes to this policy

If this privacy policy changes, the "Last updated" date at the top of this page will be revised to reflect the change. Material changes will be reflected in the app's release notes where practical. Continued use of Fly Ready after a change to this policy means you accept the updated policy.
